I saw these NAP Twister heat-shrink fletchings at WallyWorld. The fletchings on my crossbow bolts were showing some wear and tear. The package guaranteed tighter groups. For $10 I figured I'd give 'em a try.
These are the ones you dip in boiling water. Followed the instructions and they went on without a hitch.
Went out this morning and zeroed my scope @ 30 yards. After getting zeroed like I wanted it, I figured I'd shoot a group. I shot from a seated/supported position @ 30 yards. When i fired the 3rd shot, I saw one of the fletchings from a bolt go flying when bolt #3 hit the target. That's odd, what could've caused that?
Turns out I robin-hooded my third bolt into the second bolt. I'd say NAP's guarantee of tighter groups is spot-on.
My crossbow is a Wicked Ridge Warrior that I traded for a couple of years ago with the factory 3 dot scope - far from top-shelf stuff. My bolts are Carbon Express Surge with field points.
