    Tuning issue

Bow isn't broadhead tuning and can't figure it out. Went to go shoot today with my new release, decided to shoot it with broadheads. I usually shoot inside at 15 yards. Today was nice and cool so I went outside and shot at 20 yards. I let the first one fly and right before it gets to the target and makes a hard up and left right before impact. 4" high and 2.5-3" left. I'm thinking I nicked something because at 15 yards poi between FP's and BH's are the same. So I let another fly, same thing. I move back up to 15 yards and impacts dead center. I go pulls arrows, check the area for any little branches or anything that could be interfering. Nothing around. So I go back to 20 yards same thing. I tuned the bow to bring to center, high means raise nock point or lower rest. Lowered the rest a tad, I'm on vertically. Well left impact usually means too much spine, so I add a 1/2 turn to each limb, doesn't change at all. I turn it up another 1/2 turn and now the poi has moved from 2.5" left to 2.5" to the right. Throughout this entire ordeal my poi of FP's only moved down 1" and never changed left to right, still shoots a bullet hole through paper. I dont get this at all. Still impacts same as FP's at 15 yards. What could be happening in that last 5 yards?
I put it up and Im going to go back to it tomorrow.
Might have to go back tot he Rages, they are still impacting same s FP's.

Bow is a Hoyt Vector Turbo, 29" draw set at 66lbs
Arrows are Gold Tip hunter pros cut at 30"
BH's are slick trick grizz 2's.

You may try changing arrows. I know it sounds silly but i had a few Slick tricks and Muzzys that i had to do this with.

How many different arrows did you sjoot? Did you shoot the same brand head and arrow over and over?

Sorry 55-75 arrow. Tried 5 different arrows. Also tried my easton flatlines and GT Velocities but they are for a 60# setup so they were too weak.

I say underspined with that length of arrow.

There could be several issues, but I'm going to guess that arrow spine is one issue.

Why in the world are your arrows so long?

I shoot 29.5" Gold Tip Pro's at 65#, but I use the 7595 spine with no issues. You might try a stiffer spine.

They are cut at the end of the riser, I'll check length but Im pretty sure they were 30

Arrows are 30" throat of nock to end of insert. I could one of my old 75-95's and pretty much the same poi, going to yoke tune it some more and hopefully that will correct the problem.

Fletching contact did almost exactly that to me.

After I fixed that, I can shoot just about any Bh and they have hit where my field points hit.

I'm sure arrow smith will get you fixed. I will tell you that just about any bow at 330 plus on the ibo. And draw and arrow length. Longer then 28 a 300 spine needs to be looked at

Remember a arrow spine is at 28 in. So a 350 spine at 30 in long is not a 350 spine.

This still requires that the bow is in tune and there is no contact with fletching

Yoke tune and moved the d loop and its on out to 30. I'll have to go find some place to shoot out further than 30 to make sure its good out further as well. Thanks Arrowsmith for the advice, I hoped I wouldn't have to dig the press out but that was all it took.
