Having elbow problems and looking into crossbows. Is tenpoint a good brand or are there others comparable? I know mission makes them, but most of those are out of my price range.

I went with the tenpoint shadow ultralite. I am impressed. It took six shots to get sighted in at 30 yards. It is relatively quiet for a crossbow and has an excellent trigger. Took a doe with it this last weekend. (Sorry no ldp's thunderstorm on the way and was in a hurry to get in the cooler). 15 yard shot, she went 30 yards. I used the rage hypodermic and was impressed with its performance also. Highly recommend the tenpoint crossbows.Comment

I have not seen any problems with the tenpoint brand of crossbows. They have been pretty good from what I have seen with the hunters lately.Comment

Ten Point only here. The Accu draw system is awesome for people with bad shoulders and backs. Both my boys shoot them thanks to shoulder surgery.Comment
