    I'm stumped...

I'm trying to BH tune with my new LD pro v rest and I'm having some problems...

My set up: mathews chill 28/70
    28.5" DCA hunter 350s
    100gr Slick trick viper tricks

My BH is flying about two inches to the left at 40 but dead on at 20 and 30. I can't get close at 50 on out... If I move my rest to the right my fp's move to the right as well. I am going to attempt to tune again tonight, but I imagine the same outcome. I want to be dead on with BHs out to 60, so any advice y'all can give me on what could be wrong would be happily accepted.

Note: I want to stay with the heads I have, so changing weights isn't my preference.

If they're both moving right with the right adjustment wouldn't you move your sights as well to move them both back to the left.

I'm assuming that the adjustment right moves both field point and BH'S.And they are grouping together

Nope. Adjusting the rest makes the FPs and BH move the same distance... But I am going to try this just in case it was my shooting causing the problems. Thanks for the help!

So, you had this BH tuned to your bow before the rest was installed?

It will prolly be very tiny adjustments. Post a update tonight. Good luck

In my experience, if you move the rest right to correct for left hitting broadheads, the fp will move right also, but the bh will move more, bringing them closer. If small adjustments on the rest aren't working, there is something bigger wrong like spine

Correct. Flew perfectly with the same arrows as I shoot now. I am going to try some extremely small adjustments tonight along with loosening the spring tension. I just read that too stiff of a spring can exaggerate unnecessarily fine tuning issues

This is my thought as well. I'll give it a shot. (Aren't I punny?)

Well nothing went well. I was getting to a good spot when two of my arrows lost fletching. I should have taken that as a sign to stop, but I didn't. Then the wind picked up and I tried to keep tuning. Then I lost a slick trick and insert inside of my target. Long story short, the BH's now hit 3 inches to the right of the FPs at 30 yards. I ordered more fletching and will try again when there is a bit more calm going on outside.

The one positive thing is that the fact the BHs now fly to the right means that there is a happy medium where they will hit the same. It is so minute i am positive it'll take a long time to get there.

All sorts of things can cause this. Fletching clearance would be one for sure. Spin test your broadheads as well. I've had heads that will spin true on one arrow and not on another. Cam lean and timing can also throw strange things out of a bow as well.
