Just picked up the haw madillo and so far I like them. Didn't really need the insulation.

I'm on my 4th year with my LaCrosse as well ($49.00). Uninsulated, thin green cold as heck rubber boots. But they've never seen civilization. When I get to where I'm hunting, I pull them out of their own scentlok bag and return them when I walk back out of the woods. I also put Dead Down Wind Boot and Storage powder in them. I wear boot blankets while on the stand when it's cold.

Went to academy yesterday to pick up a pair of rubber boots, had the UA in mind but once there I tried the Mucks and choose them. In the store they seemed a little more comfortable and no complaints after the first day in the field.
