Looking for a new release that will not break the bank. I was looking at the Scott Samurai, but have not shot it and don't know if it's any good. Anyone shot one or have experience with one? Any other recommendations?

I tried a Scott at first but it wasn't for me. I switched to the tru fire edge with fold back head. You can find them in ebay for 35-50 bucks now. -

I understand not wanting to pay big $ for a release, but it's an investment. A good release will last a long time and will be worth it's weight In gold IMHO ! With that said I've shot a bunch of different releases, truball fang is a great release , Scott silver horn is just ok with a spongy trigger, but a carter RX2 is where it's at. Best release money can buy, but this is only my opinion. I strongly urge you to shoot a carter and judge for your self!Comment

I shoot a Scott Samurai now and I really like it... Thinking of switching to the Silverhorn, just because I won't have to focus so much on making sure the "jaws" are around the D-Loop, when the shot opurtunity arises...Comment
