    Changing strings on an MR7

Does anyone have a video on how to change strings on an MR7? The 2 cam system with the yoke has me confused.

Cams or just string? Should have two cables that go from Cam on one side to AVS wheel on opposite. Looking at mine I don't see how you'd replace those without pulling the axle.

I guess I'm not very clear on my request.

I already changed the strings and cables, but I'm not sure I put the right number of twists in and how do you adjust the yoke strings?

The cams looked level through the cam holes, but I'm not sure if there is supposed to be a slight cam lean and if so, how do I make sure it is the right amount?

I'm pretty sure the timing looked good.

The main thing is to get the ata and the brace height and draw length back ro where they were.
With this done any cam lean will probably be the same.
If the bow tunes well it should group.
Don't get too nervous about splitting hairs till you know you have a problem.
The timing is done at full draw. If you need you can call me and we can talk about draw stops.

Thanks killer! I'll check on it this weekend. I sold the bow a few weeks ago to a friend and he came back with some new strings, asking me to put them on. This is the first time I've replaced dual cam strings, but it will be good learning experience for when I have to replace them on my Chill R.

pop off the e clip and remove the axle and cam. Remove the yokes and install the new ones and reassemble in the opposite order.

Old Killer - it turns out I didn't have anything to worry about. The young lady shot the MR7 and said it shot perfectly - exactly like before I changed the strings. She and her dad were surprised that they didn't have to re-sight it. See, I do pay attention to you old guys.

Glad it worked for you. Simple is usually the best way.
