    May have a problem

My hoyt ignite started making a squeak noise from the bottom cam on the draw. I put a drop of gun oil on the axle and the squeak went away. I went out to shoot and make sure the noise was gone and now the bow is really loud, like it has alot of string noise now. Also its not shooting very consistently at all now.
    Did i do something wrong?

Noise is probably coming from the limb pockets. You should take it back to your dealer and let them look at it for you. Good luck.

If you do a slow nice attentive inspection, looking over your cams, limbs, strings modules and cant see anything wrong than take it to the dealer. I'de hate for you to find something wrong once the bow explodes.

I would definitely take it to a reputable shop and have it checked out

          Is this a common thing?

I wouldn't say its common, but with Hoyts, bow noise like you described is usually gonna be the pockets or the pivots under the limb. Your local pro shop will be able to fix it
