Folks - looking for some ideas/advice. I hunt on 260 acres and do not hunt over feeders or food plots. I basically set up on trails and water. Rifle hunted all my life and this is my first year of really trying to get after them with a bow. I have plenty of straight trees to climb so i don't have to worry about setting up in crooked trees. Looking to spend around $300 for a tree stand(s). So my question is - should I look to get two or more stands and have sets in different locations or go with one really nice stand in one location. Any recommendations on brand for multiples and the single. Climbing sticks are taken care of so I don't have to worry about those. Thanks.

Craigslist is your friend. I bought 2 home made hanging stands for $25 apiece. Steel is quieter but heavier. Sportsmansguide.com always has good deals on stands and ladders or sticks, I prefer ladders. You don't have to get the higher end stuff just because it's "the best". If cheap is safe and works I'm all for it.
