I am currently shooting GT Velocity Hunter 400s out of my Mathews Z7 Extreme 28" Draw @ 70lb I wanting to go to GT Velocity XT but should I go with 300s or 400s I don't really know the difference?

GT has an arrow selector on their website? Depending on your current arrow length you need either the 400 spine or 340 spine cut off is 26inch arrows, check out the website and see what they say, you can even emial or call Gold Tip and they will help -

Also check out the easton website, I have a Z7, 30 inch draw length, 70lbs and shoot the easton surgical and love themComment

If you choose the 300's, You may want to start with them a little long, around 29.5 inches cut length. It is easy to cut more off. I have never had much luck welding them back together.Comment
