Hydro dipping Cams

Are there any dangers or disadvantages of hydro dipping the cams?

I wouldn't want it in the cable/string grooves. Or in the pivot areas. Not sure what doing it would gain you.

disadvantage would be its not factory and not the way it was designed.. it prob wouldn't hurt anything but if i was taking a shot at a deer of a lifetime i would want to know it was like its supposed to be.. i all that stuff has to work in sync, it may throw it off.. this is all just an opinion i actually don't know anything for a fact
