Why? Just curious. Never shot one

It sets deeper in my finger, makes me more prone to pull through than punch.

Ive shot both, prefer swept back. Shoot the hardcore max with swept trigger and love it.

You can get your trigger deep with a forward trigger, you just have to shorten the length of the cord form the strap. It is easier to get the same feel, with no out of the box adjustments, with the swept trigger.

If you are comfortable with your anchor point, a swept would require fewer changes. If you are ok with some changes, a forward trigger could be the way to go.

Forward for me. I've been shooting guns for years, and I like it to feel similar.

true; however, most forward trigger designs are of a flatter geometry but a trigger that is swept say like a trufire has a pretty aggressive radius. this in itself creates a unique feel that some may prefer.
