So as part of a package of stuff from a fellow TBHer i got a Moultrie easy fill feeder. When I went to set it up the motor didn't work and spinner was frozen up. I had read online that they were prone to water damage, so when I tipped it over I noticed water coming from inside motor.
So I bought a replacement from Moultrie(as they wouldn't warranty the one I had) and installed it. It worked about 3 weeks than stopped. I tipped it and didn't see any water or any sign of tampering. Put new battery on timer, but still no luck. Spinner spins freely by hand. timer looks normal and shows 100%
Now they want me to pay to ship this back, and then send me out another one/or fix ..so I was curious if anyone has had similar problems and if there is either a fix I can do myself or if I get a replacement unit, if I should do something to prevent it from failing again.
