I had used my Bushnell golf range finder most of this season. The problem with it was that it was bulky and difficult to hold in one hand, which I consider a requirement when bow hunting. I went with a Nikon Prostaff 5 because of size. I don't really need the ARC stuff as I can adjust the measurement in my head pretty quickly using general rules of thumb.

I have a Leupold 600 and only thing I dislike is the unlighted display. At first legal shooting light you can take a reading but can't see the numbers until you raise it to the sky--

but which has better glass. my 8 year old nikon still works great for yardage and the glass is decent. but in low light, you cant use it for identification at all.
how is the Leupy 100 or vortex on optic quality
for bow hunting, it would be nice to have the rangefinder as my optic instead of having to carry small binos too

That being said, the glass on my Nikon is alot better than the glass on my bushnell and is better than a small pair of binos with a similar objective lense size.
