Muzzy 4 blade 100 gr. shot my first bow deer this past thanksgiving and she didnt run but about 60 yrds and had good blood. Shot was a little back too.

Slick Tricks

Along the same line as the Muzzy's I shoot Slick Tricks 100gr. Basic 4 blade fixed that flies like a field tip..not alot of tuning required.

I've shot NAP thunderheads. Was my beginning broadhead, not to expensive and work great. My dad has hunted with them for 30 years.

Magnus stingers is what I have started lots of people with. Could give better suggestions with bow specs and what will be hunted. I would go simple to start.

Bingo! Cheap also doesn't hurt! My brother started with mechanicals because he was young and my dad was worried about him forgetting his fingers when he went to shoot. Everything I've seen works well, and as long as it fly's straight, go for it!
