    String installation prices

For you bow techs out there, what would you expect it to cost to install cables and strings. It took about 30 minutes, I supplied the string. All he supplied was serving and d-loop material. Opinions?

That's what I was afraid of. With a peep purchase I was charged 72 dollars. I haven't heard of a peep worth 48 dollars yet.

That would be the last $72 they get out of me. I think I pay about 25 and have had them do it for free.

-----------charged me $35.00 just to put my string back on one pulley!!! I think that was very steep, and I have been a repeat customer. I won't be back!
They weren't busy, I was the only one having work done.
              I won't post the name!

Same as me, I was the only person there. The only reason I went there is because my usual tech wasn't in where I go most of he time. Lesson learned I suppose.

Not to be a smart A but it would help to ask for service charges before hand to prevent this. A turn to walk out the door may get a more reasonable price.

Believe me I'm kicking myself for not doing that exact thing as they say hindsight is 20/20 I like to think I won't be making that mistake again!

Just an install. He checked timing, but it did not require any adjustment. I will be taking it to my regular shop to get the tune done.
