    What's wrong with my form?

I bought a used compound a few months back. Built it up with all the needed accessories, sighted it and started practicing...

    Here's the deal;

I have this thing dialed in for me, but I have let two others shoot it and they are far right. One is an experienced traditional bow guy and the other is a beginner.

And not to mention I have my pin sight set almost as far left as it will go...

To me this sounds like I have a flaw in my form.

What am I doing differently than the other guys?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Not everyone will shoot the same bow exactly the same If your bow is tuned, just worry about how you shoot it, not how others shoot it.

While I agree with this too. If you are wanting to get your form right to improve your shooting and it is off season, I say go for it. not seeing you shoot, it sounds to me like you may be gripping your bow in your hand instead of letting it just kind of balance there. Leave your hand open a tad or mainly just relaxed. Don't hold it wide open though. The other thing is you maybe trying to catch your bow as you are shooting. In other words you are closing your hand as you shoot to make sure your bow does not fall. You have a wrist strap. It will not hit the ground. Just make the shot and let it fall into position. Try these things first. I have found that these are the first things to look far. Other than that it could be you are not allowing the circle of your site to match up with the circle of your peep. Just a couple of things to try. I am sure there is many other things and you will get some good advice on here. Have a blessed day.

        Thanks you all...

I will try a relaxed grip. This could be part of it...

I am aligning the pin sight ring in the peep...

            I believe so...

The rest is set so that my arrow is aligned with my string and cams.

Relaxed grip hand is a must. Also your released hand needs to be relaxed. Have your hands tense induce a lot of torque. My extreme sight is the same way tho.

Ok, cool... Will work on my grip and release hand.

Nice to hear someone else has their sight positioned the same way...

Yeah they don't have a ton of gang adjustment on windage.

The most important thing is your group size. Left and right issues are usually the bow hand. It is hard to adjust your bow grip to accomodate the impact point of others. How you grip the bow should be with a relaxed hand and allow the bow to be caught by the sling.
Form is all but immaterial. It is only important that your form and grip are easily repeated on every shot and situation. If you change something to hit where somebody else does, you may find your group size getting larger.
You may try lowering your grip with more pressure on the bottom of the grip. Pressure towards the front of the riser will cause you to shoot left.
Again, don't make a change you can't repeat with comfort.
Torque is applied on every shot by every archer. The key is to do the same thing on every shot.

Do you have a level on your sight? I'm just now getting consistent into archery and bow hunting and found that I have to rely alot on my level for the left/right. If I dont have my bubble in the level at a good postion, I'm guaranteed to shoot far left/right. I too had a problem with gripping my bow tight. A wrist strap is a great investment so you dont have to worry about dropping your bow. It's a natural instinct to grab it after you shoot either way, but the wrist strap is great insurance.

Have a sight level and wrist strap. Gonna work on a looser grip...

Waiting on some 100 gr field tips, grim reapers and grim reaper practice tips for my new Gold Tip arrows. In a week I will start practicing with those, adjusting my grip and seeing if that changes things...

We can throw a lot of suggestions at you, and some may help, but if you are confident something is not right, I would suggest shooting with an experienced shooter who can watch you or go to a pro shop if you can't find anyone. It could be excessive torque from you or something wrong in your set up. Without someone seeing you, it is hard to fix the problem.
