I like shooting a heavier arrow because you generate more kinetic energy.

I'm shooting Easton Aftermath 400s w/ 100 grain Muzzys without any issues on a Z7 xtreme. My dad was shooting Eastong A/C/C 340s with the same broadhead on the same bow without an issue. Bow is about 64 lb draw. He had it setup with a 30" draw and it is at 28" for me.

Mine is a Z7 Magnum 29/70 and I get the best hunting performance shooting a Easton Axis 400...

Sounds like my issue is with my bow and not the arrow.

Once again open that hand up and check your form. Mathews grips do not agree with hands.

I don't shoot a Z7, but I shoot the ZXT which is very similar.

I shoot the 2010 Z7 with 65lb limbs and Im' having the same issues. Pretty accurate with field points but my Slick Tricks are 4-6 inches off at 30-35 yards. paper tuned to bullet holes on field points. Interested to see what is wrong with it. Good time of year to be dealing with these issues : )

Wrong time I know... Weird thing is I had it shooting perfect with almost any fixed broadhead last year at 65#'s . Replaced the string and increased weight and it has been a nightmare !
Do your Broadheads hit right or left of FP's?? Mine hit right about 4-6 inches as well!

I spoke to gold tip they said to get it shooting a bullet hole and go from there. I really don't wanna play with it during season.

A few helpful tips and things to check...

Are you shooting fixed blade or mechanicals BH?

Is your broadhead tuned to your bow?

Unless the arrows are cut extra long they shouldn.t be weak.
Move the rest till you get a bullet hole. Best done with a bare shaft from 12 to 15 feet from the paper.
A good way to test spine is to use a light point (75gr) through the paper and switch (150gr) point. The one that improves the tear will tell you if you are weak or stiff.

FYI-- also, Mathews dealers are also fixing the problem by lowering the fall a way rest cord below the serving an inch or so. I don't get it but I watched it demonstrated.
