I bought one of the moultrie at sutherland for like $20 but it a big piece.... I pretty much broke when i weighed this pig..... i had to take it apart and fix it and then lift the pig extremely slow so the scaled doesn't jump around and break.

Mechanical scales (most scales in general unless they are a platform scale) are pretty delicate. Just need to either raise cautiously with hydraulics on tractor or use come along on ibeamsnin barn or under awning.


Another good raise option is using a single large pulley and the winch on front of truck or 4 wheeler. As long as 4 wheeler is heavy enough......if not see section 4.7 in your 4 wheelers owner manual and add more people to 4 wheeler for better anchoring ability.
