I switched to all outdoor edge. All I use now are the razor-lites because I suck at sharpening knives.

You are comparing three 420HC blade knives.

Buck heat treats 420HC much better than Gerber in my experience. It just doesn't act like the same steel. The difference in edge holding is significant.

I use the Gerber and the Omni Hunter. Both are good knives and my fixed blade Omni Hunter has a gut hook and it opens them up like a zipper. Both are great for me.
