There is zero reasons to use a whisker biscuit. Use a drop away.

There is no reason not to shoot a drop away. I bought and installed mine for 50 dollars. It(arrow) wont fall off, zero friction,silent,and if your vanes are slightly different it wont matter either. Whisker biscuits are hard on your vanes. They are also not as consistant as drop aways. With a drop away there is nothing different every time. Only thing I can find on them is the cable ,if it gets wet let it dry before waxing because it will rot.Just tying to help someone avoid what I went through!

Cool , my wb tore up my vanes. If you dont shoot alot then it probably wont be a big deal. If its killing deer i wouldnt change it either!

Well atleast I got my original question answered. Thanks guys. As for the WB I say if it ain't broke don't fix it and I'm satisfied with it for now.

I'm probably going to switch soon Rocky. I can't kill anything with it, it's as loud as an engine brake and it slows my arrow down so much sometimes my arrow doesn't even get to 20yds before it just falls to the ground. Once it slowed it down so much it just bounced off the deer. There are way to many good arguments made on this thread not to switch

Okay fine I didnt mean to say that its not a good rest . All im sayin is its not the best one for hunting. I geuss i need to say things differently. I agree if it aint broke dont fix it. The guy that started this is at a crossroad,im just telling it how i see it so he will make the right choice. peace out.One thing you can say is people who shoot at the highest levels all say you cant tune one properly. Bottom Line
If you want to squeak every iota of accuracy and speed out of your bow (which is perfectly understandable) use a fallaway.If you want to wear out your vanes shoot wb. Its the long shots that should worry you. Not the short ones. WB will be fine at those. But Im not good enough to know how far the deer are going to be from where im hunting. Good luck all.

I wanna find out what kind of vanes folks are using that the WB dousnt make them wavy. It might just be I got cheap vanes. ??
