    Mounting light on stabilizer

I am trying to save a buck and bought one of the cheaper 'ultrafire' CREE flash lights instead of an elusive wildlife brand or something similar. I ordered the light and the pressure switch, but now I am trying to figure out the best way to mount it to my stabilizer. Elusive Wildlife sells a 'rapid mount' that you can tighten and loosen by hand, but they want 20 bucks for it. I don't want to pay more for a mount than I did for the light. What have you guys done to mount bow lights?

I spent 20 bucks on my quick mount with the screw on piece and that was the only One I was able to find and I also spent more for a 3 pack of 250 lumen flashlights but to works great

I use zip ties so I can remove for deer hunts. Considering Velcro, will let you know how it worlds.

I ordered a green LED light from dealextreme, and also one of these mounts:

With it, I can attach it to a gun barrel or stabilizer or anything else semi-round. It works pretty good, and its more secure than you think. You can really cinch down on the velcro.

I made one out of minerallac straps (for electrical conduit).

Use a couple of 3/4" mounted back to back, with a rubber washer in between to keep them from turning, and swap out the bolts for some longer carriage bolts with wingnuts.

I later thought about painting it with some spray on bedliner to keep it quiet and not scratch anything. I only ever used it fooling around, since I already had an XLR-100.

Pretty simple, and only a couple of bucks to make.

I have a bunch of velcro from a job I did. And just used it.

I have a camera and a flashlight mounted on my stabilizer. Works just fine and it slides in and stays. I'll see if I can get a picture of it.

The pieces don't velcro to the stabilizer only used it to make a formed type velcro mold and slide the pieces in and out as needed. Very quiet.

It also helps that my stabilizer is a Tru-Glo three sided piece so it fits snugly in that groove.

Though not really a stabilizer but a cheap reel seat for bowfishing. Clamp, flashlight and pressure switch from dealextreme. Cheap to
