    Ram Cat broadheads

I probably should have asked before buying, but has anyone used Ram Cats?
I was intrigued- it looks like I might get better penetration with them due to my light weight set-up. I shoot a light arrow and draw only 50# and frequently don't get the penetration on pigs I need to kill them. (I don't have any problems with pass-throughs on deer.)

Please do NOT digress onto other broadheads, this question is about the Ram Cat only.

Stacy, there are a lot of Ram Cat threads on this sight if you want to sift through them all. In respect for your thread, I will not go into any other broadheads. I have not personally shot a ram cat, but they look like they do plenty of damage from any bow.

I will say that penetration is pure physics, and there are broadheads out there that apply to physics. I will leave it at that.

Ramcats do get great penetration. I've never personally shot them but have been with people hog hunting with about the same poundage as you, and they all penetrated well. I will say I haven't seen a pass through, but all the arrows sunk at least 18 inches. Sorry, but that is all I can tell you

Thanks Andy - I know there are and I should have done a search. I usually do, but I was too tired to try. I appreciate your help and comments!

LOTS of Ramcat users on this site, and LOTS of "positive" feedback. piles of dead deer, pigs and african animals, just from these texas guys that use them should give you a warm and fuzzy feeling. screw one on and stick somethin' !

Keep that warm and fuzzy feeling about your purchase. Best head I have ever shot for a fixed blade head.

As far as more than pure 2 blade heads it the best flying and penetrating multi bladed head ive delt with. Best part is it does not cut little holes. You can also slick the tip up with a diamond hone if you wanted.

I've got the 100's and the 125's and I love them so far. Haven't killed anything yet, but they definitely fly better than my Muzzy's and Bloodrunners. And they get better penetration on the target than the other two.

Ragin' - How's it coming with the two-blade Ramcats? I'd be willing to try them!
