I'll put my Destroyer 340 up against anything you got on the quiet scale

I agree it's got to be an instillation problem. Qad makes some of the best rests. Make sure your timing is correct. Good luck. Paul

Wasn't really the advise I'm looking for but since you brought it up. I shot all major brands of bow that would go 31" including a couple that weren't main stream. The insanity was every bit as quite as Mathews or pse and a lot more than Hoyt. The quietest bow I shot was the prime impact. Regretfully it doesn't come in my size.
              Now back to my rest!

That would be the simple answer. Problem is that I raised it all the way up but the arm goes beyond 90 degrees so even a the way up it still hits.

I'm going to take it back by and have them check it out. I don't remember it making the noise when I was shooting it the day I bought it.

I'm my experience, when you get a new bow, it's hard to tell until you get it home and run it through the paces.

Smithfield sometime then? They normally don't have a ton of people on the range.

I'm just messing with ya homie. If anyone starts a Mathews thread we get dogged like crazy. So it's only fitting I dog your bow tech a little all in good fun.

All in good fun. I was a PSE guy since I started. When I was looking and shooting all the other makes they all had their little flaws but the only bow that made me want to throw up was the Z9!

All kidding aside, it was a good shooting bow, maybe the best of the rest. I'm just not a fan, just doesn't feel right in my hand and I just can't go to the dark side!
