    Broadhead tuning for a Lefty

Posted in this section for some more help

    Bowtech Insanity CPX
    62#

    Arrows are
DCA 350 Pathfinders Pro with wraps and lighted/weighted nocks @ 27.5" with 100 gr points
Broadheads are hitting Low left like "6 low and 6" left.

Easton Lightspeed 400 @ 27" are hitting low left also not as dramatic as above more like 4" low and 4" left

    Field tips are grouping good

    I shoot left handed

You will need to move your rest slightly right (away from riser) and up. Do this in very small increments (1/32" maybe). Check relative grouping after each adjustment, don't change the left/right and up/down at the same time.
Don't shoot at the same spots with broadheads, so you can avoid shaving off your fletching. Once FPs and BHs are hitting correctly, adjust your sight if needed.
My and both of my sons shoot similar setups, all leftys. This usually takes very minor adjustment to correct, and I rarely need to adjust the pins afterwards.

Well I worked on the rest making small adjustments and basically the same results the field tip point of impact is high and to the right of the broadhead. Just now the broadhead his center bulls-eye and field points are 4" high and 4" right

You need to paper tune the bow.

Something doesn't sound right... I'm left handed and broadhead tuning always works fine. No need to paper tune. Have you changed anything recently? Release, rest, arrows, d-loop, anchor point, etc...

Had a module messed up and the guys at CCR fixed it and checked the cam syn. Everything is in time. Thats it.

I did turn the poundage up tonight since the 350 were on the line as far as being to stiff. I`m up around 68# now so that shouldnt be an issue.

Try Raising your nocking point and bow timing could be out.

I shoot Lefty. Bowtech Insanity CPX 70#. Easton FMJ 340, 100gr slicktrick mags. I was also hitting low and left with my slicktrick magnums vs field tips. Paper tune looked really good. I just ended up adjusting my sight to compensate. The broadhead and the field point impact points are a little different but both very consistent. Hitting bullseyes out to 60yrds with the broadheads after adjusting my sight and that's all I can ask for. I won't be shooting in any spot or 3D competitions until after bow season is over I guess.
