    Replacing Your Arrows

I need some insight on arrows

I have heard and read that carbon arrows wear out after shooting hundreds of times.

How long do you guys keep your arrows? do you get new arrows every season?

I flextest them before shooting but you still never know..I really don't want an arrow through my hand.

I am also considering increasing the weight on my bow anyways so this is justification for me buying new arrows

    Thanks GS!

I shoot mine till they're broken or "gone". . Flex test em and if they're good then keep shooting them!

Just keep flex testing them and you will be good to go. Do not think there is any "shelf life" on carbon arrows as long as the flex test shows they are still good.

Yep flex test & cotton ball test too. Run a cotton ball up & down the arrow, any tiny cracks will get snagged. Just another tip to use along with the flexing

Most of my arrows never get shot much more then a handful of times before I usually break it off in a pig so I never been concerned about wearing one out. Like everyone else said, as long as it passes the flex test your good to go.
