IF YOU DO DECIDE TO TRY IT- practice !!
Then when you think you have done it enough , practice some more !!
I would say shooting poster paper board is closer to shooting through hide. I have shot them through mesh before but as gray wolf said it needs to be tight. Go with a blind that does not have the mesh would be my suggestion.

There are a lot of people that have had great success shooting through mesh with them. But I would try them with your application first.

I've done it and the buck in my Avatar was shot through mesh with a rage. I always use a braces rubber band around the middle of the rage if I'm going to do it. Go out and practice through mesh and see how it works for you, I wouldn't do it without practicing first.

High percentage of opening thru mesh

Believe it or not, I had a surplus of Razor Back 5 broadheads and loved them. I decided to try the Rage as well, 2 blade. I was worried about the same thing. The first year, I shot 6 point on the last day of the season in Bucks Count, PA. the entrance who was very big, but the exit was huge! Unreal. I have since used it for three seasons with the same results. this will be my first year hunting in texas so we will see.

I never actually done it but I don't even trust shooting fixed blade through mesh.

Thanks everyone, think I'll go with Slick Tricks instead.

Slick tricks are very good and they shoot through mesh no problem

Good call on the slick tricks. I've killed a lot of animals with Rage, but they lost my business when my arrow did a loopy lue and ended up in a bucks neck never to be recovered. I know for sure that the head was closed but still opened on the shot. Now it's slick and Grizz tricks for me. Rage did make gigantic holes though.

I have not did it but I wad told that they are designed to fly the same opened as they do closed.....havent tried it though.....so if you shoot though the screen unless it hangs should be fine but I wouldnt chance it

I've shot rage for a few years and have never had one open early when shooting thru mesh. Just think the mesh is not sturdy enough to deploy the blades.

You can do it consistantly with a Shwacker or obviously a Blood Runner. Those are the only 2 I couldn't get to open on mesh.
