    Lipstick on my collar!

Hehe, borrowed some the wife's, while she was out. Put some on the shelf and my QAD is hitting on the drop. On the blazers, kissing the the QAD. What's next?

Make sure its setup like the directions. Does not rise until that last inch maybe two inches of your draw. Turn your knocks so the cock feather is about 1:00 vs. 12:00 Sometimes it helps if you use the taller rest since it will hold the arrow higher and give more clearance once it falls down. Thats all I got...

Think I'll take it back to the shop that put the rest on.

        Trying to understand for sure.
Your rest is hitting the shelf?
Are you sure your vanes are hitting the rest?

I had similiar problems when I set up my QAD LD and I had to adjust the timing by loosening the connection to the cable, pulling it down almost to the end of the string (from the rest), drawing the bow, and tightening it down where the connector ended up. No problems since. It should show you how to do that in your directions.

Single cam designs: Mathews, Parker, Ross, Martin, etc.):

                  - With the launcher in the Full Vertical Position, use a bow square to find the nocking point, which is set on average at a 1/8" to 1/4" nock high.

                  - It is very important that the timing cord is attached to the bows downward buss cable. The launcher must be 90 degrees to the bow shelf AT full draw (The launcher can come up an inch before full draw, but no sooner). The rest will not drop away properly if it is not in the Full Upright position AT full draw. **Extra tension on the timing cord at full draw is better than any slack in the cord at full draw, the main reason for the rest to come up before full draw is to compensate for a shooter that creeps before his shot.

If your fletches are contacting the QAD rest then I agree you have a problem with the timming. You can check your full draw idicators also.

I never noticed that before and took my bow out in the back yard to see if they lined up and they did perfectly. Thanks for posting that.

No problem. If these do not line up you will have trouble.
