I'm looking for a good bow for my son. Any ideas? He's not real strong yet (8 years old) we got a cheap one now but if he does chores etc he will get a new one soon.

the mission bows are also amazing. I have one set to 28 inch draw and 63 pounds. ive shot beside an 8 year old shooting the same model. but his was 22 inches 27 pounds. and they are not very costly, which is a plus for me

The only down fall to me with the missions are the wide grip because kids just starting dont realize when their torquing, also the back wall is pretty spongy. I've seen kids time and time again when their aiming you can see their arrow moving back and forth on the rest because they don't know to stop pulling when they hit the wall. JMO

I bought my son a craze. He loves it. But if I had it to do over again I might go with the infinite edge. A little cheaper. But these two are the front runners IMO. The other mentioned are limited in draw length and weight. He will advance pretty quickly and then you have to either buy a new bow or new limbs.
