Thanks and i guess only time will tell how well i did and all i did was try to copy the way my peep was sevred in on my odd string.

Nothing wrong with that. Next time you replace a string, ask for a yard or so of thread that matches your string colors. It will be thinner and color matched.

Off topic, what did you take the pic with? I've never had any luck getting a close-up pic that turned out that nice.

I used that method for years. You did good. You could use less wraps above and under the peep though. It dosnt have to be that big.

Now, all I do it use half squares around my peep and finish it with a square not and burn it down. I got lazy.
