Good bow shop in Abilene?

Anyone vouch for a good bow shop in Abilene? I live in Sweetwater. Willing to travel to San Angelo but prefer closer. Colorado City, Snyder, Etc. I got all my work done at West Houston archery before I moved out here and am looking to replace my string. Only want someone who really knows what they're doing.

Also, is it too close to season to replace a string? What do y'all think?

It's not too close to the season. Better to have a new string than end up breaking a worn out string in the season. We don't have many options in Abilene. The only real bow shop is at Abilene Lumber on Industrial Blvd. I haven't been in there in a while, so I don't know who is working in there right now. They've had a couple different guys the last couple of years.

Archery shop in Sweetwater

There is an Archery Shop in Sweetwater at The Medicine Place, 1008 Lamar, Sweetwater (325-236-6809) and I think they can set you up with a new string and tune. I have only bought shafts in there but word of mouth says they are pretty good. Go look and talk with them. I am in Snyder and there are no shops here. The best shop around this area is Lubbock Indoor Archery in LBB 806-763-5300 and the one at Abilene Lumber is well stocked but I don't know much about the people behind the counter, probably pretty good.

I bought my HeliM from the Lumber yard there in Abilene. Pretty good shop and good service.
