    Athens Bows

If you are not shooting a bow by Athens Archery, you are missing out. Sent the wife's Athens Ibex bow to Athens to get new limbs, complete Vista Camo dip, and pink anodizing of all the hardware. The finish is flawless!! Check them out at www.athensarchery.com

it's hard to tell from the pics, but, even with that, the detail on the camo on the top limb looks really good. i'm really diggin' all the red accents as well. ( can't say much for the pink letters though )

All the metal hardware on the bow, cams, limb pockets, sting stop base and string are all pink. The picture makes them look red. The detail of this thing is incredible. They will do any make or model bow as well. Great Company

If only they would promote themselves, and their dealers.

I am with you there Rocky, but that takes money a new company just doesn't have. I know CCR quit carrying them for that reason, great bow but nobody has heard of them. They don't have commercials on every 5 minutes. There is a couple out there, watch Hallowed Ground Outdoors.

And i agree, prolly the most over looked, underated bow out there, imo. I loved my accomplice 34.

Athens isn't really a new company anymore. They like to utilize staff shooters to spread their word. Its the easiest promotion out there it seems. They also sponsored Major League Bowhunting for a couple seasons I believe.

I love my buck commander. Its the smoothest drawing bow I have ever shot. Mine peaks out at 80+ lb and feels like a 40lb bow when drawing it.

I wanna shoot the hallow ground outdoors r120. Same thing as recluse. Their new offerings look sweet too.

Sambo, I've got the R.120 if you want to shoot it. I live just south of Fort Worth, I could meet you at CCR or somewhere in the Metroplex sometime if you are interested let me know. It's a shooter for sure!!

With commercials comes higher price. After all ,they have to pay for advertising somehow." Word of mouth" cheapest advertising out there.
