    Sighting in help needed

I'm trying to get ready for the Arrows for Amanda charity shoot, especially the long elk shot. I shoot a hind sight which works like this: you center your top pin in the X which serves as your rear sight. There is no peep with this setup. Right now my top pin is dead on at 25. For my lower pins I leave the top pin in the X, and aim with the lower pins which are currently set at 35 and 45. I want to slide my rear sight(the X) up to the point where my top pin will be on at 55, thus making the lower two pins on at (I'm estimating) 70 and 85. Does anyone have any idea how far up I should move the rear sight to get it close? I'm shooting at a block black target and don't have a lot of room for error...I.e. if I miss the target I'm probably going to lose or mess up my arrows.

I'd really like to have a LARGE target or round bale to shoot at to figure this out with less risk of losing or ruining my arrows. Unfortunately that's not an option unless someone in the Georgetown area has a large target and the room to shoot at these distances.

Let me hear what ya think.

Put on some lighted nocks and shoot in the evening...you wont be as likely to loose your arrows. However you will be competing against me at that shoot so I don't wanna give you too much info. LOL I hear there will be a new hoyt sypder for the winner of the long range shoot.
