How good of experience buying a bow on eBay?

Been eyeing Bear Carnage on there. I have never bought anything expensive on eBay before. I like buying at the store cause I know I can go back in there if there was any issue with it.

Any pointers would be very appreciated! Would hate to see our hard earned money to be burned and end up with bad bow which in turn I wouldn't sell that upon to others.

It does say NEW. 2012. Bear Carnage. I didn't know they still made it and thought they stopped in 2011 and changed it to Motive?

i think you'll get mixed reviews on this one. i have bought several New bows on ebay. they are typically new with tags, just leftovers from a shop that didn't sell. you can normally get good deals. i, personally, have never had a bad experience. just check on the listing and see if returns are accepted. if not, hopefully ebay and paypal should still back you up if you receive a bad deal. good luck to you

Reviews on Carnage? Or buying on eBay?

Thanks for pointers! I do not have Paypal myself. Grin.

I've had 2 good experiences, buying bows on eBay. Check the sellers' feedback rating, and make sure that they'll accept returns, and you should be fine.

Outstanding. I'll keep an eye out for these things to protect my investment. Appreciate it very much!

most reputable sellers you shouldn't have a problem with.

you don't have paypal ? i'm sure there is a credit card payment option, paypal
just protects you a little better

I buy and sell a lot on eBay. AND I bought a used bow on eBay that I've been very pleased with.
As mentioned above, pay close attention to the seller's feedback rating and look at the specific comments left by other buyers. Even if there are some negative, there can be reasons for that.
While I hate Paypal, it does provide even more protection than using just your credit card. And both Paypal and eBay side heavily with the buyer, so if you don't get what is set forth in the listing, you'll get your money back if you use Paypal.

I have bought a used bow (my first one), land (unseen) and a used truck, all of which I still have and use. Do your homework and contact the seller as much as you can with any questions and such. Good Luck

I too have had good luck using Ebay. As stated above, look at the sellers reviews and send them an email or two to get a comfort level. Enjoy your bow.

Do not pay as a gift if you use pay pal. I waive all of your protection, and chance to dispute a charge, and possibly get refunded.

Check the sellers feedback nine ways to Sunday and make sure they are reputable.

Email them and ask if they will accept a postal money order, and offer free shipping. If it is a shop selling excess inventory, they should have no problem with that.

I have had a few good experiences with eBay transactions, but I was the seller. And was not afraid to answer any question from anyone.

Ah. That's good to know! Many thanks. I will do that and ask questions.

Anybody know if its true there was Carnage throughout 2012? I thought they stopped making it in 2011?

they did make the carnage in '12 along with the anarchy. the motive is a 2013 bow.
