    New Ride! Monster MR6

    Made a trip down to West Houston Archery intending to buy a new "speed bow" as I love my light, short and smooth Z7X. Had the itch and I just had to scratch it. Shot Hoyt, Bowtech and Mathews and ended up liking the Monster MR6. Smoothest draw (relative to speed bows)and best back wall of the speed bows. After a few shoots had a true Robin Hood (double bullseye) at 10 yards. Axion sight and stabilizer, QAD HDX rest and a Loc Outdoors wrist sling. Can't say enough about the customer service at West Houston Archery.

    I'm going to chrono both of my bows tomorrow so I'll post results tomorrow.

            Sweet. I like how added (smoothest of speed bows). Im not really a Mathews guy anymore at all but i do have to say the Monster Line is impressive. Im still eyeballing an MR5 myself. Sweet Rig. Cant wait for your numbers to be posted.

                            So here are the numbers. Total arrow Weight = 408 grains
                            Speed = 298 ft/sec
                            KE = 79.93 ft-lbs

                            Would've liked to have hit the 300 fps mark but I guess it's fast and hard hitting enough with these numbers. Also added some axion limb dampeners today and they make a world of difference. Click image for larger version
