Best Bow String wax

I just started using Scorpion Venom wax on my new box. Seems to be pretty good stuff I like is better then the bohning textite wax i was using before.

what does everyone else use and why?

never heard of Scorpion before going to google them,
Bohning seal tite, I just hate my applicator stick having to push mine up from the bottom, wish they made it like a chap stick tube

Scorpion venom is great stuff. But, there's lots of good ones out there. I just prefer the scorpion venom.

i have some at home in a chap stick style tube, and i believe it's bohning.
i'll try to take a pic tonight if i remember...

One of you string makers might tell me this is a bad idea but I melt it first. I cut a chunk of Bohning and put it on an empty up-turned beer can then heat the can with a torch. When the wax liquifies I apply it to the string with a small artists brush then rub in with a small scrap of leather. It really penetrates the string.
