Getting ready to purchase a crossbow so my 9 year old daughter can start using it. She killed her first deer with a rifle this past season. Any suggestion on a good reasonably priced crossbow?

Had an excalibur equinox, loved it. Most accurate crossbow I've owned so far. Have a horton summit HD150, and a barnett jackal as well.

If I had to pick best bang for my buck, I'd go with the jackal. I think I paid a little over 250 for mine.

Try the Parker cross bow that's made for the kids. It has a smaller stock.

Spot on. My son and I have both shot a hog with the Wicked Ridge Invader. He was 7. I would recommed some type of stick rest for it if the young kids will be shooting it. I really like this crossbow.
