Mathews Focus Grip for my DXT

I picked up a new Mathews Focus Grip for my DXT from Richard a Bowzone today. Wow, it sure tighten up my grouping! My grouping was really off by the end of hunting season. Several hogs I shot were 4 inches to the Left. It never seemed I could get consistent with the Mathews wooden grip. It just felt to big in my hand.

My Z7E came with one. I was considering going another direction and pulled it off. Now it won't stay on well. Guess I need to glue it back on. I need an idea what glue to use.

Fred, at the Bow Shop in SA says use the black caulk-type adhesive and put some on all three sides of the grip and slip it on, then draw the bow to make sure it is where you want it, then wrap it tight and let it set 24-hrs.

Love my Focus grip as well! So much easier to handle at full draw.

use the glue that is used to seal windows. Thats what i use, it's the black glue the shops use. Can't remember type but they have it at hardware store

i love the feel of the focus grip but I do not like the small change it makes in draw length. my heli-m and z7 i really like the focus.

              my creed i do not

To me, when my palms were sweaty they'd slip on that slick wood, so I needed the smaller, stickier grip like the Focus, group inside the bull's eye now

Use "Hot glue" that's what they use from factory so you can inter change it easier when the time comes. And that's what most bow shops use as well
