    Bow String Question

Was thinking about ordering a set of vapor trails for my new bow (hasn't even come in yet). Figured instead of setting it up twice I'd just get the strings now. My question is, I was looking on Vaportrails website and they have "strings" and "string sets". Should I get just the string or a set? Keep in mind, the bow hasn't even been shot yet... Just looking for quality, aesthetics, and a few more free FPS...

I always chunk all my stock string sets right off the bat.

Not trying to sound bad here, but how does the string add speed or make a difference at all? Its string.

If you are talking about your 2013 Elite, it will come with Winners Choice Strings made out of 8190. Plenty of folks change to WC strings when moving away from stock.

I have done several new Elites with the WC strings and see no reason to change.

They might settle a tad within the 1st 50 shots, but just verify tune after that and you should be good to go.

No sir. They're different grades of string made out of different material.
