    Trufire Hardcore Release

Just got my new release. I wanted one for Christmas, but the one i asked for was not the one I wanted, so I sent it back to Cabelas and just got the replacement in. I tried one at the cabelas store in Fort Worth when I found my bow, so decided to get one of my own. For $107, including the exchange credit, its better be a good one. Im gonna try to get some adjustments done by the end of the week, and hopefully I can get enough shafts down range to figure out how good it is. Ill make a report as soon as I find out.

i switched from a caliper style to a hardcore max and it has tightened my groups up. after shooting a hook i can safely say i have shot my last caliper style release.

I guess I'm odd guy out. I not a fan of the release and actually have gone back to a dual caliber release. The hard core cost me a 300in elk this year. I didn't have it set when I pulled back. Also notice myself pulling shots with it over 40yards

Got about 35 shots this afternoon before dark, and once I got it adjusted and comfortable, I immediately noticed a difference in my grouping at 25 yds. It is gonna teks some getting used to. The swept-back trigger is a different feel than my old release. I do like the length adjustments, and the buckle feels WAY more secure than the velcro strap that my old Wal-mart special had.

I am gettinga little bit of sting on my cheek. Im not usre if its from the string, the string loop, or if its actually the relese thats getting me.

I really like mine. Took a little to get used too, but overall great release.

I used the hardcore max all last year. I liked it, until, the leather started squeking a little bit everytime I drew back. I think this is a common problem with alot of releases that use leather straps. Was definately an excellent release, just got a little loud.

I bought a Carter quickie 1 plus for this season, haven't even tried it out yet. The trufire sold me on the "hook" design for life I think

I switched to hardcore from little goose several years ago. Took a little getting used to but in the end, worth it. Good luck
