I am constantly trying to improve my shooting and one of the first things I look at are my arrows. Vanes, points, knocks, you name it I want to improve it. I have been shooting my DXT @ 27.5"DL set at 61# with GT Velocity 400 for a while now and they shoot very well but with just the slightest bit of inconsistency. I piddled with them for a while and just recently decided to try the GT Velocity 300 to increase the spine a little. I did this based on the Easton arrow selection guide which takes into consideration the type of cam you have on your bow. Well the difference from one spine to the other has been just great. I just got back from a 3D shoot in Lubbock and shot one of the best rounds I have ever shot. The difference is amazing. By the GT charts I am just on the border line of 55/75 and the next size up anyway but didn't want to spend the money on the other arrows on just a hunch. Well, I am glad I did though. I did go down a little in speed but gained a lot in consistency and accuracy. Just a thought. I did up the draw weight to 65 and that helped as well for some reason with my consistancy. I also shot the GT Velocity 400 along with my 300 and they both shoot "almost" the same poi. The lighter arrows are noticably faster to the eye though, but shoot well at 65#.
