    bow upgrade

I currently shoot a bowtech assassin (first good compound bow). Well, I have the itch to buy another bow after 2 years (killed a doe, two turkeys and a coon).

Was thinking about getting a mathews ZXT, bowtech insanity, elite hunter, hoyt spyder...of course after shooting them all.

Am I nuts getting rid of this bow, changed the sights, drop away, stab?

No. I sell good bows all the time because I want to try something new.

Ask yourself if you can afford to take the loss, and are you willing to take the loss so you can try new equipment....

If the answer is yes, then do it.

BTW, sell it bare bow and selling your accessories seperate generally gets you more money, depending on shipping charges you accrue.

Do you love the bow you're shooting? If you love it then I wouldn't. You'll spend the next couple of years chasing that Assasin down again.

If you're getting kills with it. It's still a good bow. Maybe use it as a back up. But once you get a new one, you might end up going back to 'old trusty'.

2 weeks ago I looked at the new elites, and got the itch for a new bow. But... thought about it and I just can't let my assassin go just yet. Its a tac shooter, I can hit anything I drop the pin on. So I got over it quickly.

I would have a hard time letting go of my assassin it just shoots to good and is so smooth.

I would not buy another one unless it felt perfect. Bought this bow without shooting in and have been pleased, just sometimes wonder what I may be missing.

I just traded my Diamond Black Ice for a Mathews MR6. Great bow accurate and fast to. I believe it is alot faster then the bowtech if your looking into that. Produces alot of KE to for mechanical use. Try looking at the Mathews Chill you may like it. My vote is to get rid of it.

Lol. Posted uo my assassin earlier and it's already spf. I got a ZXT waiting on me on tues!! I just wanted something different. Nothing wrong at all with my assassin though.
