I own 3 of them and while they do work great they don't keep the skeeters off of you in all cases. I hunt a lot at night in the spring and summer and when the skeeters get real bad down on some of the river bottoms I hunt it just doesn't keep all of them away but does help tremendously. Heck, when the skeeters get real bad down here I've had them land right on the pad and all around it with it on and smoking. I actually had to wipe the skeeters off the pad as they were dying on it. When the skeeters get real bad here I will have two thermacells going, repellent and a bug suit on.
