I knew how to get this but forgot, could some one tell how to get KE of my bow. What is the formula for it?

just type in "archery kinetic energy calculator" into google and you will find several sites that offer the calculator. just type in your arrow weight and fps and it spits out the KE#

Simple answer... speed x speed, x arrow weight, divided by 450,240.
My bow.
282 x 282 = 79,524, x 388, = 30,855,312, divided by 450,240, = 68.53 lbs K.E.
28 " DL, 65 lbs.
