Looking at a Mathews switchback

I'm looking at buying a Mathews switchback for my 15 year old brother in law. He has never shot a bow but I'm sure he can handle a Mathews with practice. Is the switchback still a good buy and which one would be better switchback or switchback xt.

Btw I also found a good deal on a bowtech diamond marquis but I like the quality of Mathews. Open to opinions.

I really liked my XT. Probably the smoothest quietest bows I have ever shot.

IMO The Switchback was the best hunting bow ever made by Mathews. I haven't liked any of them since....Big reason I have shot Elite since then,

Love my XT. Have had it since thay came out . I am getting Z7 Xtereme should be in this week . I am keeping my Switchback XT as my backup bow .

The Switchback XT is a great bow for anyone, young adult, youth, or more wise in years. It's a very fine shooting bow.
