    Heavy arrows

I am thinking about switching from fmj's to a heavy carbon arrow. Anyone have a suggestion? I have had the fmj's bend on me a couple times and I don't want to chance it.

CX pile driver or the GT kinetic will both be good options

CX piledrivers shoot very well for me and are super tough!

Easton axis 400. It is heavy like the fmj, small diameter for better penetration yet it's a carbon arrow. Solid in my opinion

Arrow Dynamics Traditionals. The toughest carbon ive ever shot and heavy.

Im also interested in the Victory Vap's with the stainless steel insert/outsert.

The question is what are you calling heavy, 500 grains, 600 grains?

Shooting Pile Drivers right now, with some Aramids mixed in.

Im going the heavy small diameter route also, but gonna use the Easton carbon injexions with the Victory insert/outsert just because the injections are heavier than the VAPs by 1-2gpi depending on 300-350 spine

Around 10 gpi is good for me. I want to stick with Easton's, so I'm thinking about the axis 400's. I'll lose a little weight but its close.

What are the victory insert outserts?

I'd recommend the Muddy HT-1.. One of the toughest arrows on the market and won't crack like the VAPs..

They are the inserts made for the Victory VAPs but will fit the Easton injexion arrows... They come in three weights 33gr,43gr, 92gr, and allow the injexion arrwos to shoot regular broadheads instead of only deep 6 threaded heads.

What did you hit to have the FMJ's bend? My experience is that they're really tough arrows. I shot XX75's for a lot of years, and there's just no comparison. Whatever bent them will almost certainly break any carbon-only arrow. JMO.
