    Code Red

Hey guys I had a shop setup my Code Red. I almost always lock the rest into the up position myself, and when I do.. I put the arrows right where I want them. When I use my draw to pop up the drop away rest I notice that I am getting a strike and my arrows are hitting 2" low. It appears to be setup correctly for timing VIA the instructions.. Anyone have any ideas? I certainly always lock the rest up by hand when I am hunting.

    Thanks,
    JCM

When I used to use a Code Red, I always flipped the rest up by hand. I don't think I ever allowed it to raise up with the draw cycle, so I'm not of any help.

I personally had problems with contact on both my Code Red and QAD Pro.

I narrowed it down to the internal components sticking. Make sure your timing is right first, but you may have a sticking rest. It happened to me on two different brands as I stated.

All else fails, call RipCord and ask them about it.

Thanks for the info. What rest are you using now then?

I have fallen in love with the NAP Apache. It dosnt lock up but it's a full containment rest that's incredibly quiet.

I used to think I needed the locking arm until I bought the NAP. I've bought others since then, considering I'm a bow-a-holic, and always go back to the Apache.

I have Jerry at RBO to thank for that!

Not trying to hijack.....but I've got an Apache on my Bowtech and have a Limbdriver on the EVO that I just bought. I've read a lot of good things about the LD, but so far, I like my Apache better and may end up putting one on my EVO as well.
