I picked up a 2012 Bear Mauler

I went up to Cabelas at Buda today to see about the new Legion Bows. Well,they didn't have any 2013 models in yet, so I tried the Mauler. Man that thing is fast, quiet, and accurate. They set it up for me with the accessories I picked out. I choose to outfit it with a Whisker Biscuit, Tru Glo Extreme 5 pin sight, Limbsaver 4.5 Spiral Stabilizer, 6mm peep, and D-loop for $525.00. Drawweight is #70 with a 29.5 Drawlength. When I got home I sighted in the 30 and 40 pins in about an 1.5 hours. I think I'm ready to harvest something tomorrow.

mine screwed with my accuracy... didn't like it, as for failure, aint had one yet with the Apache. BUT, TO EACH HIS OWN!

I purchased same bow a couple of weeks ago ... nearly same add ons ... still sighting in (can't get enough time to mess with it)... the bow shoots quiet and fast...I really like!

I'm glad I got it. It's faster than the one I originally wanted (Legion), but when they said it was reduced $100.00 new in the box made the perfect buy.

I saw nine bucks this morning and only one was old enough o shoot. He had one side broken completely off. He would have been a nice 9 pt. or an 8. He was a fighter and was chasing off all the younger bucks.

i got a mauler a month ago for $400 with almost the same stuff on it except all mine are trophy ridge it shoots great i love it im 16 and this is my first bow im looking to use it to get into hog hunting i have it maxed out at 70# and 27.5" im sure that will do the job haha and ive been working my way up to 70#(started with 55) and am shooting it good and can do at least 30 shots with out getting tired
