Shooting through mesh

Hey there fellow bow junkies!

I am new to hunting out of a ground blind. I have been sitting in trees for a while. So hunting out of a tree is nothing new to me. But hunting out of a ground blind is. I now have shot and missed two deer. One was due to the broadhead hitting the mesh and the blind, shooting the arrow to the ground. Second shot was deflected I believe to the mesh. So, please sound off. How many of you shoot through the mesh? I have one blind that is a primos club xl, the other is a gorilla. Thanks for your feedback!

It has been my experience that the mesh works well with fixed blade broadheads out to about 30 yards. I haven't attempted it beyond that range. I always try to make sure the mesh is tight. Some say that doesn't matter, but I have seen broadheads deflected by wrinkles in loose mesh. Just sayin'

I prefer not to shoot through mesh. I generally leave my main shot window open and wear black inside the blind. In early morning and late afternoon I have trouble seeing out of the mesh.

I don't shoot through mesh anymore but if it's a must, it has to be tight! again wearing black works great

I have have shot through the mesh and hit the target but when hunting I just keep it down.

I have two pop ups with the shoot through mesh, but I've never been able to make myself shoot through it. Some of the posts here have confirmed in my mind that I made the right choice.

Me and Landrover have shot piles of deer thru the mesh. No effect if you are using a fixed blade and a tuned bow.
