I bought the G5 sharpener at Gander Mnt. For mine, it works great

I sharpen mine on a Lansky system. Hair popping scary sharp.

Ive heard the lansky is good, but kinda pricey. I thought the G5 and other flat stones only really worked on two blades or three blades

I also used the lansky on mine. I believe angle was 25. Worked very well.

I use a G5 Sportsman sharpener on Slick Trick blades (as well as anything else I sharpen) - works great!

I got almost every sharpener out there. For blades up to 40 thousanths or so the Smiths is the easiest and very cheap. $5-6 at Academy...

I use the second hole up. The first hole would make it more acute than the factory edge, and take a lot of grinding. The 2nd is very close to the factory angle.

One key thing that is very important...make sure the arms are parallel. If the gap in the back is too big or small, it will impact the angle.

For a few bucks, you can mail me your blades and I'll sharpen them and mail them back. I enjoy doing it. Offer good until I'm out of arm hair

lanskys take forever unless you got the diamond upgraded stones. i got the regular. sure would like to upgrade. when you try to cut new angles on knives it takes forever.

Smith's, hands down the easiest and the best . It will put a wicked edge on them.
